Concierge Spotlight: Awards Dinner at Stella Barra
Posted on April 29, 2016

As corporate concierges, our clients are constantly coming to us for advice about the latest and greatest establishments for great spirits and tasty food.  The newest addition to our list is the recently opened Stella Barra Pizzeria in North Bethesda.

Our company’s 2nd annual Awards Dinner was the special occasion that brought us to the establishment last week and with tasty hors d’oeuvres, appetizers, and pizza, Stella Barra did not disappoint.

Our group gathered for cocktail hour around the bar.  It was a beautiful evening and they were able to open their garage door front windows to let a nice breeze pass through the industrial style restaurant.

Passed hors d’oeuvres included prosciutto wrapped mozzarella lollipops (to die for!), grilled vegetable skewers and fresh burrata.

From there, we sat down in the main dining area to a three course family style meal. Dinner included crispy Brussels sprouts and organic pork meatballs for savory appetizers; light salads including heirloom spinach and purple kale and arugula walnut; and then three different types of artisanal pizza, all which were the perfect blend between chewy and crispy.

We appreciated that the servers came around to each table before dinner was served to ask about allergies or dietary needs. Gluten free pizza was available upon request.

Our meal was finished off with the much anticipated house made cookie platters.  The blondies were the first to disappear!

Another great aspect about Stella Barra is the accommodating staff. We were able to rent out the restaurant for our private event. The servers were quick and friendly, allowing for us to give Stella Barra the Charm City Concierge seal of approval.

Stella Barra is located within Pike and Rose, a gorgeous urban neighborhood with shops and boutiques, restaurants, salons, and the iPic Theatre.
