Blossom Kite Festival

Join kite makers and fliers from across the globe for the sixth annual Blossom Kite Festival.  Watch demonstrations, competitions, and even fly your own kite!

International Pillow Fight Day 2016
National Mall
Washington, DC
Time: Saturday, 3pm
Cost: FREE

Celebrate International Pillow Fight Day with Capitol Improv and friends! Participants are encouraged to use pillows other than down feathers and to stay after to help clean-up.

Sparkling Spring Ball
Dumbarton House

Transport yourself to the early 1800s at Dumbarton House’s Spring Ball!  Enjoy traditional dances, music, drinks, and refreshments to celebrate the beginning of spring. Please come in period costume or after-5 attire.

Beer, Bourbon, and BBQ Festival

Come one, come all for the 10th anniversary of the Beer, Bourbon, and BBQ Festival! Sample 60 beers and 40 bourbons, and dine on delicious barbeque. All guests receive souvenir glasses for tastings.

Annual Craftsmen’s Spring Classic Art & Craft Festival

The Legwarmers: DC’s Biggest 80s Retro Dance Party
The State Theatre

Cost: $18, this is a 21+ event

Pull on your legwarmers and tease your hair because it’s time to party like it’s 1985 with Washington DC’s premiere 80’s tribute band. The Legwarmers have been playing to sold-out crowds around the region since 2001 and return to the State Theatre this weekend! Dressing in theme is highly encouraged!

Kite Fun Day
