Summer may be wrapping up and the kids might be heading back to school, but there are still a ton of great summertime events to get in before everything goes back to normal. Don’t miss out on fairs and festivals and everything in between!


Washington, DC Events:

Truckeroo is a monthly festival showcasing 20+ food trucks from the DMV area. It’s unusual that you get a chance to taste so many delicious food trucks in a place that is kid and adult friendly!  Enjoy live entertainment, friendly faces, sunny days and a wide variety.

DCTV’s Community Day Festival, a free outdoor celebration, is back with live
music, local eats, and family fun.  The event will have a wide range of musical performances, games for kids, giveaways for adults and exciting surprises for everyone. Grab your lawn chairs, bring your blankets and come together to celebrate DC as one big neighborhood!

Baltimore’s farmer’s market and bazaar is open for the season! There will be a huge variety of items available for purchase including fruits and vegetables, baked goods, dairy products, and dozens of food vendors! Vegan food items will be available.

Over 575 exhibitors will be at this show to help you find that perfect vase, antique table, or whatever it is you’re looking for! The show is also great for browsing.

19th Annual Comcast Outdoor Film Festival

Come join in on the music, food, and family fun! Check website for movie schedule. Movies start at dusk. This event benefits the NIH Children’s Charities!

Enjoy a summer evenings on the lawn of Potomac Overlook Regional Park with family and friends with outdoor concerts every other Saturday evening. Attendees are invited to bring picnic, although alcohol is not permitted.

More than 20 vendors, along with many of Torpedo Factory’s artists, will be selling or trading a variety of art supplies—there will be more common items along with more unique finds, too. The market will also feature on-site offering demonstrations and workshops, a book-swap table, and a special Art League exhibition featuring legacy artwork.

The Prince William County Fair dates back to 1949 and today is Virginia’s largest County Fair. The annual event in Manassas, Virginia includes livestock exhibits, a variety of midway shows, truck and tractor pulls, Monster Trucks, Lawnmower Racing, a rodeo, demolition derbies, baby contests, pet shows, live music, storytelling, games and carnival rides.
