Drink the District: 50 Shades of Rose

Frederick Douglass 200th Birthday Celebration

Frederick Douglass is a seminal character in US history, a brilliant abolitionist who called DC home for many years. In honor of his 200th birthday, tour his home and enjoy special celebratory activities at the national historic site in Anacostia. Perched high on a hilltop, the site also offers a sweeping view of the Capitol and the DC skyline.


Chinese New Year Parade
6th St from Eye to H St, Chinatown, DC
Time: Sunday at 2PM

It’s the biggest and most diverse parade ever to ring in the 4716 Chinese Lunar New Year. The dynamic community-based parade will include traditional lion and dragon dances, Kung Fu demonstrations, firecrackers, live music, and other community talents.


Frozen Harbor Music Festival
